A flashback to a period between the mid 90’s and 00’s that also marked his former publication, Trying To Dance, this revisiting of memories sixteen years later is a new edit from those same negatives. Roughly two-thirds of the images have never been published or publicly seen – this archive of unknown, nostalgic work now set amongst the familiar faces of his past.
Akio Nagasawa, founded in 2008, is a gallery and publisher located in Ginza, Tokyo. Representing Japanese and international photographers including William Klein, Daido Moriyama, Eikoh Hosoe, Issei Suda, Toshio Shibata, and other established and emerging photographers. In collaboration with these photographers, the photo books Akio Nagasawa has published for a decade have attracted so many interests and received good feedbacks from all over the world.
