FOREIGNER: Collected Writings 2017

In February 2017 Daniel Castro Garcia won the BJP IPA for his work on the European migrant and refugee crisis. This publication combines images from the award exhibition, with writing from some of the world’s leading specialists on the subject of the European migration and from individuals who have experienced the crisis first hand. We hoped to provide alternative perspectives that are not often found in the mainstream media, because when journalism and public discourse move into the sphere of inflammatory language and misinformation, the real victims are often forgotten.
